What the Moon is Like

Today, we learned about the Moon!

For the experiment we did today, all you need is some flour, a bowl, a spoon, some pepper and a couple different sized marbles. This experiment was a great illustration of craters on the moon.

First you put three spoonfuls of flour and spread it on the bottom of the bowl, evenly.
Then you sprinkle pepper to cover the top of the flour. After that, you drop a marble from one foot above. When doing the last step, you will see how the marble (which represents a rock) creates a crater shape on the surface of the mixture (which represent the Moon).

Here are some of the Craters we created.

We had a lot of fun!

We wrote reflections about what we learned!

    2. I research that pepper makes you sneeze because the chemical piperine,
an irritant, gets into the nose.

  10. Water is Jupiter's atmosphere. Photos slips past jupiter in 3D. The red spot on Jupiter is a hot spot on Jupiter. The blue spot on Jupiter is the Jupiter aurora. jupiter sometimes as stormy stripes. jupiter has four big moons called the galilean satellites.
